In December 2019 we brought Tchaikovsky’s the Nutcracker to TF Royal Theatre, Castlebar in collaboration with the Victoria Walker Dance School and the Jeté Youth Project. It was a fantastic opportunity to perform live music for the dancers, including guest soloists Ayumi Maezawa and Leigh Alderson.
This event was honoured at the Irish Association of Youth Orchestras’ Festival of Youth Orchestras in February 2020, where we were presented with a Youth Orchestra Achievement Award.
